HM Prison Lindholme
A former RAF base near Doncaster, long associated with a ghost known by several names — "Lindholme Willy," "Billy Lindholme," or "the Polish Airman" — believed to be an airman who crashed into the surrounding bog during the Second World War. Reports of the ghost reportedly ceased following the discovery and burial of a body at the site in 1987.
