Template:VaultOrganisationAssessment

Assessment panel for pages covering investigation teams, societies, clubs and similar hobbyist or grassroots organisations — as distinct from formal academic research bodies ({{VaultResearchAssessment}}), individuals ({{VaultProfileAssessment}}), locations ({{VaultLocationAssessment}}), or documented works ({{VaultWorkAssessment}}).

Designed for groups whose significance lies in what they did and who they influenced, rather than in a body of formal findings — e.g. local ghost-hunting teams, UFO spotter clubs, cryptid search parties, folklore societies.

Place below the article introduction.

Usage

{{VaultOrganisationAssessment
|scope=Multi-county investigation team covering Essex, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire
|methodology=On-site overnight investigations combining witness interviews, mediumship and photography
|key_members=Founder Name; Co-founder Name
|notable_case=The [[Example Case]] investigation, 2005
|successor=[[Example Successor Organisation]]
|current_status=Defunct (2007)
|legacy=A neutral summary of the group's significance to the wider history documented in the Vault.
}}

Parameters

  • scope — geographic reach or subject-matter focus
  • methodology — how the group actually investigated things
  • key_members — founders or other notable individuals, most useful when they don't already have a full profile page
  • notable_case — the group's most significant or representative investigation
  • successor — any organisation that continued its work, if applicable
  • current_status — Active / Defunct / Dissolved / Merged / Renamed, etc. (distinct from the infobox status field — use this to add nuance, e.g. "Defunct as an independent team; absorbed into successor organisation")
  • legacy — a neutral summary of why the group matters to the Vault's documented history. Avoid asserting whether any investigation's findings were genuine.
