Template:InfoboxEntity
Renders the right-hand infobox card for a page about a specific reported creature, being, or presence — cryptids, apparitions, folklore entities, or alleged extraterrestrial entities. For the general field of study around a type of entity (e.g. an overview of cryptozoology as a discipline), use {{InfoboxPhenomenon}} instead; this template is for one specific named entity.
Formerly used ad hoc under narrower names (e.g. a prior CryptidInfobox); {{InfoboxEntity}} is the general-purpose version covering all Entities sub-types, not just cryptids.
Note: requires the ParserFunctions extension for the conditionals.
Formatting note: the entire template body is written as one unbroken line, with no line breaks between rows — same rule as every other Vault infobox.

Parameters
- name — required
- image — optional. Filename of an uploaded image (without
File:) - caption — optional. Caption shown below the image. If the image is AI-generated, the caption must say so explicitly per the Copyrights policy
- classification — recommended. Which Entities sub-type this belongs to (e.g. Cryptid, Apparition, Folklore entity, Alleged extraterrestrial entity)
- also_known_as — optional. Alternate names for the entity
- region — recommended. Where the entity is primarily associated with or reported
- first_reported — recommended
- last_reported — optional. Omit if reports are ongoing or have no defined end
- status — recommended. e.g. Unconfirmed, Disputed, Explained
