Paul Humphries was a British spiritual medium from Cleethorpes, based in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, known for touring public demonstrations of mediumship and private sittings across Lincolnshire and further afield in the UK.

Career

Humphries described experiencing what he characterised as contact with "the other side" since childhood, and trained at the Arthur Findlay College in Stansted, a well-known centre for spiritualist and mediumship education in the UK.

He built a touring schedule over subsequent years across spiritualist churches and public venues well beyond Lincolnshire, with recorded appearances including Bracebridge Heath Spiritual Centre, North Lincs Spiritualist Church, Percy Street Spiritualist Church in Rotherham, and Fleetwood Spiritualist Church in Lancashire, alongside regular dates around Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Lincoln, and Immingham. More recent public dates included a psychic evening at Healing Manor near Grimsby in November 2025. Promotional material for his events described him as having "gained a first-class reputation within his home town as well as other areas across the country."

In November 2019, Humphries appeared as a guest on the Weird Wacky Wonderful Stories Podcast, discussing his work as a medium. His official website hosted a large number of client testimonials describing readings and demonstrations, consistent with the touring church and public-event circuit he worked within.

Death

Humphries died on 8 May 2026. Following his death, tributes were shared by family and members of the spiritualist and local community he had worked within for many years, through his public Facebook page, which had accumulated over 23,000 followers.
