The Vault
The Vault is the root category for the entire archive. It has no parent — every other category on the wiki either sits directly beneath it or descends from one that does.
The Vault splits into two broad kinds of thing: content about paranormal subject matter itself, and the categories that organise cross-references between pages rather than representing a subject in their own right.
Subcategories
- Reported Phenomena — ghosts and hauntings, cryptids and folklore, UFOs and sightings, and psychic phenomena
- Parapsychology — the academic and investigative study of paranormal phenomena
- People — mediums, researchers, investigators, and TV personalities
- In The Media — television, film, radio, and newspaper coverage of paranormal subject matter
- Hub Pages — county, regional, and thematic overview pages that cross-reference the case files above
Filing conventions
- This is the only category on the wiki with no `|parent=` value in its infobox and no `[[Category:...]]` tag at the bottom — every other category page should have both
- New top-level subject areas (a sixth branch alongside the five above) get filed here directly; anything narrower belongs under one of the five instead
