Ghosts and Hauntings gathers case files concerning apparitions, residual hauntings, poltergeist activity, and other phenomena associated with the presence of the dead at a specific location. It sits alongside Cryptids and Folklore, UFOs and Sightings, and Psychic and Tarot as one of the four phenomenon types under Reported Phenomena.

• Case files documenting a specific reported haunting, apparition sighting, or poltergeist incident
• General phenomenon pages about a type of haunting (e.g. residual hauntings, or a recurring figure like a "grey lady"), once enough case files exist to justify one

• Pages about a specific person known for mediumship or ghost investigation — those belong under People instead (see Psychic Mediums and Researchers)
• Pages about a TV series or other production covering hauntings — those belong in In The Media instead (see Most Haunted)
• A place where multiple different phenomena are reported (ghosts alongside UFOs, cryptids, and so on) — that's a Hub Page, not a Ghosts and Hauntings entry; see Hub Pages
• Claimed communication with the dead as an ability in itself, rather than a specific haunted location — that belongs in Mediumship under Psychic and Tarot
