Template loop detected: Template:InfoboxCategory Category:Locations collects places associated with reported phenomena, historical mysteries, or investigations. This category splits into two independent branches:

Locations by Type — classifies a place by the kind of subject it is (haunted, UFO-related, Fortean). Use when a place itself is what an article documents.
Locations by Geography — the archive's geographic browsing tree (country > state/region > town). Any article, regardless of its primary classification, can attach to a town-level category here alongside its own classification — a Case, an Entity, an Investigator's base of operations, and a Locations article can all share the same town tag.
