Template:InfoboxBook

Renders the right-hand infobox card for books and published works. Formerly named Template:BookInfobox — that name now redirects here. Please use {{InfoboxBook}} going forward. Used for:

• Paranormal research books
• Historical texts
• Investigator memoirs
• Fictional works with relevance to The Vault
• Important publications within paranormal studies

Note: requires the ParserFunctions extension for the conditionals.

Important formatting notes:

• Every row must be written entirely on a single line within its block — never split a <div>/<span> row across multiple lines. MediaWiki's parser auto-wraps multi-line HTML blocks in stray <p> tags, which silently breaks the row's CSS class structure and the two-column grid layout it depends on.
• There must also be no newlines between rows — every block runs directly into the next with no line break at all. If a field is left blank, its whole block evaluates to nothing; a newline sitting either side of that blank output still reads as a blank line to MediaWiki, which gets rendered as an empty paragraph and shows up as unwanted dead space wherever an optional field is omitted. Keeping the entire infobox body as one unbroken line guarantees a skipped field leaves genuinely nothing behind.
• This template previously broke in both of these ways on live pages — keep any future edits to this template on one continuous line to avoid a repeat of either.
