Sara Whyman is a British paranormal investigator, producer, and editor, best known as the co-creator and co-presenter of Are You Haunted..?, the paranormal investigation web series she leads alongside her husband, Phil Whyman.
Are You Haunted..?
Sara Whyman conceived and launched Are You Haunted..? in December 2018 through DoubleYew Productions, drawing on a deliberately rational, "back-to-basics" investigative approach that has earned the show a reputation as one of the more credible entries in the genre. Described as "the brains behind" the series, she leads the show's regular team alongside Phil Whyman, Jane Carrigan, Dale Dickinson, Ben Woodward, and later Wayne Dean, with guest investigators including Miki York appearing in later series. The show won Gold for Best Online Paranormal Show at the Paranormal Entertainment Awards, and in 2019 at the Higgypop Awards, taking almost half the vote in its category.
Beyond the main series, Whyman has co-hosted GhostCast, a companion podcast launched with the team during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns, when field investigations were not possible, alongside co-stars Jane Carrigan, Dale Dickinson, and Ben Woodward.
