Chat — It's Fate was a British monthly magazine covering psychic and paranormal subject matter, including reader-submitted true-life ghost stories, psychic advice columns, and features on tarot, astrology, and mediumship.[1] Published by TI Media Limited (previously Time Inc. (UK) Ltd), the magazine ceased publication with its February 2022 issue, after more than a decade in print.[2]
Format
The magazine's content centred on paranormal "true life" stories, many submitted by readers describing their own experiences, alongside regular columns from psychics offering readings and advice on topics ranging from love and dreams to past lives and spirit guides.[1] Recurring features included a monthly haunted-locations column, "Haunted Britain," and regular astrology and tarot sections.[1]
Contributors
Paranormal investigator Phil Whyman, best known for Most Haunted, held a regular column in the magazine earlier in its run.[3] By 2021–2022, the magazine's haunted-locations column, "Haunted Britain," was written by comedian Barry Dodds, who spent a night each month at a different reportedly haunted UK location.[1]
