Pages are added to this category automatically when the {{AI-generated}} template is transcluded on a File: page. There is no need to add this category manually.
Why this exists
AI-generated images occupy a genuinely different position on the Vault than any other file type — see the Copyrights policy for the full rules governing their use. This category makes it possible to:
- Find every AI-generated file on the Vault in one place, for review or auditing.
- Check that each one is properly captioned as an AI-generated illustration wherever it's actually used in an article, since the
{{AI-generated}}template can record that requirement but can't enforce it in the article text itself. - Periodically confirm none depict a real, identifiable person, per the Copyrights policy's hard rule against this.
