The Unexplained Channel was a British television channel broadcast on the Sky Digital platform, dedicated entirely to paranormal-themed programming. It was launched by Yvette Fielding and Karl Beattie through their production company Monster Pictures, and claimed to be the first television channel in the world dedicated specifically to the paranormal.

History

The channel launched on 9 June 2008 under the name The Paranormal Channel, before being rebranded as The Unexplained Channel on 10 August 2009. It closed on 21 April 2010, having run for just under two years. Its EPG slot on Sky Digital was subsequently purchased by Information TV.

Programming

The channel broadcast documentaries, dramas, and films on paranormal subject matter, including acquired programming such as Arthur C. Clarke's Mysterious World and Strange, but true?, alongside original content presented by Fielding, Beattie, and Paul Ross. Fielding served as the channel's on-air anchor.
