Joseph McMoneagle, one of the programme's earliest recruits, is said to have described the location of a sunken U.S. submarine that was later found, and separately claimed to have provided detail on hostages held in Lebanon during the 1980s. Ingo Swann, another prominent participant, claimed to have remotely viewed rings around Jupiter prior to their confirmation by the Voyager space probes.
